Every swatch in the Real Paints picker is a real bottle, can, or jar on a real shelf, with the catalog code you need to order it. Over 13,000 of them, and the list keeps growing.
A color picker stocked from the hobby store
Open Real Paints from the tool dock and you get a picker whose swatches are purchasable products. Hobby bottles, hardware store rattle cans, artist acrylics, and house paint, each one carrying the manufacturer's own catalog code or SKU. Pick a color on screen, write down the code, and buy the exact match for the physical build.
Match The Brush
A live band ranks the 40 nearest real paints to whatever color your brush is holding, scored by CIEDE2000 in Lab space. Eyedrop the model and read straight off the list which bottle gets you there.
Brand, line, and search filters
Narrow the picker to the brands and lines your local shop actually stocks. The filters persist, so it reopens on your shelf every time.
Jar Swatch
Stand a picked paint up in the 3D scene as a jar and look at it next to the model, the way you would hold a bottle up to a kit on the bench.
Paint List
A running shopping list of every real paint used in the project, most-used first and grouped by brand. Finish the digital version, print the list, and go build the physical one.
Who is in the box
Model and miniature paints, spray cans, craft and artist acrylics, and a full wall of house colors. This might be the largest real paint library ever put inside a 3D painting app! What matters is simpler than that: the color you choose on the model is a color you can hold in your hand.
